Wages & Benefits:
- Probationary Salary: $65,000.00
- Patrolman Salary: $73,132.80
- 1st Class Patrolman Salary: $75,129.60

Job Function: Full-Time Planning & Building Secretary
Job Location: Town Hall, 7408 Constitution Ave, Cedar Lake, IN 46303
Compensation: Up to $17.87 per hour, DOQ, plus a generous benefits package.
Job Summary:
- Researching, planning, and coordinating the various office functions of the Town’s Building & Planning Department, including serving as a liaison to various Town Boards and Commissions.
- Ensure that applications, proposals, and routine correspondence are processed professionally.
- Will often serve as a primary point of contact for the Town; as such, the ideal candidate will exhibit trustworthiness, high ethical character, a willingness to learn, and a dedication to customer service.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience with MS Office
- Some evening availability may be required
